2. What is EasyTrashMail?

EasyTrashMail provides temporary email addresses that protect your real email. Our service includes:

Random Email Addresses: Automatically generated in seconds
Receive: Unlimited emails received
Retention: 10 minutes automatic deletion
Concurrent Addresses: Maximum 3 active email addresses
No Registration: Start immediately, no personal data

Premium Plan - Upgrade for Power Users

Unlimited Email Addresses: As many as you need!
Custom Prefixes: Choose your own name (e.g., john@easytrashmail.eu)
Extended Retention: 1 hour to 30 days selectable
Domain Selection: Choose between custom domains or our domain list
Priority Support: Faster help with issues
Early Access: Test new features before everyone else

Current Premium Features: All features listed above are currently available!

3. Who Can Use EasyTrashMail?

To use EasyTrashMail, you must:

Minimum Age: Be 16 years or older
Legal Capacity: Be able to enter into legally binding contracts
Follow Laws: Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws
Truthful Information: Provide accurate information when registering (Premium)
Not Banned: Not be excluded from using the service

4. Account Registration (Premium)

4.1 Free Users

No registration required! Use EasyTrashMail immediately as a guest with all Free features.

4.2 Premium Accounts

For Premium, you need to create an account:

Provide a valid email address (for login & invoices)
Keep your login credentials secret and protected
Inform us immediately of unauthorized access

Account Security

You're responsible for all activities under your account! Enable 2FA when available (coming soon!).

5. Acceptable Use Policy - What's Allowed?

You may use EasyTrashMail for:

✅ Online registrations that allow temporary emails
✅ Newsletter signups for testing
✅ Protecting your privacy with forms
✅ Avoiding spam in your real inbox
✅ Development and testing (with API access)

❌ Strictly Prohibited - Zero Tolerance

You may NOT use EasyTrashMail for:

Illegal Activities: Fraud, identity theft, crimes
Spam & Abuse: Mass emails, phishing, scams
Hacking: Unauthorized access to systems or accounts
Malware Distribution: Viruses, trojans, harmful software
Deceiving Services: Where temporary emails are explicitly forbidden
Automated Abuse: Bots, scraping, API flooding (unless authorized)
Hate Speech & Harassment: Discrimination, threats, cyberbullying
Child Pornography: Absolutely forbidden, reported to authorities
Financial Fraud: Money laundering, credit card fraud
Terrorism: Extremism, calls for violence

Upon Violation: Immediate account suspension, deletion of all data, possible criminal charges and cooperation with law enforcement!

6. Service Limitations & Availability

We work hard for 99.9% uptime, but perfection doesn't exist:

Availability: We don't guarantee 100% uptime
Email Delivery: We don't guarantee all emails will arrive
Data Loss: Emails automatically deleted after expiration (by design!)
Rate Limits: We may set limits to protect against abuse
Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance will be announced
Emergency Measures: During attacks/abuse, services may be temporarily restricted

7. Premium Subscription & Payment

7.1 Pricing & Billing

Monthly: €4.99/month, cancel monthly
Auto-Renewal: Subscription renews automatically
Payment Methods: Credit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit (via Stripe)
Invoices: Via email as PDF, also available later
Price Changes: Announced 30 days in advance

7.2 Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Not satisfied? No problem! For new Premium subscriptions, we refund the full amount within 14 days - no annoying questions!

After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, except as required by law.

7.3 Cancellation

Cancel anytime in Dashboard under "Manage Subscription"
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of current billing period
You keep Premium access until the end of the paid period
No hidden fees or cancellation periods!

Future Premium Options

Team Plan: Multiple users, central billing (planned for 2026)
Lifetime Deal: One-time payment for lifetime Premium access (limited!)

8. Intellectual Property

Everything on EasyTrashMail belongs to us or our licensors:

Code & Software: All rights reserved
Design & Branding: Logos, UI/UX, graphics protected
Text & Content: Copyrighted
EasyTrashMail Brand: Registered Trademark™

You may NOT without our written permission:

Copy, modify, or distribute our code
Use our brand or logos
Conduct reverse engineering
Create competing services based on our technology

9. Privacy & Security

Your privacy is sacred! Details in our Privacy Policy.

9.1 What We Do With Your Data

Temporary Emails: Automatically deleted after expiration
Account Data: Securely encrypted and protected
No Sharing: We NEVER sell your data
GDPR Compliant: Full EU data protection compliance

9.2 Your Responsibility

Important: Emails Are Not Encrypted!

Temporary emails are publicly accessible (anyone with the link can see them). NEVER use them for:

Password resets for important accounts
Bank details or financial transactions
Personal/sensitive information
Business or corporate-critical communication

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".

We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement of third-party rights
Error-free or uninterrupted operation
Complete security or privacy
Delivery of all emails

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Lost profits or revenue
Data loss or business interruption
Damages from unauthorized account access
Damages from third parties or external services

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or $100, whichever is higher.

Exceptions for Gross Negligence

This limitation of liability doesn't apply in cases of intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or legally mandatory claims.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against all claims arising from:

Your use or misuse of the service
Your violation of these Terms of Use
Your violation of third-party rights
Your violation of applicable laws

13. Termination & Account Deletion

13.1 Termination by You

Free Users: Simply stop using - no cancellation needed
Premium Users: Cancel anytime in Dashboard

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access in case of:

Violation of these terms
Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
Extended inactivity (Free accounts after 6 months)
Technical or security reasons
At our sole discretion

13.3 Effects of Termination

Immediate loss of access to the service
Automatic deletion of all temporary emails
Account data fully deleted after 30 days
No refund except for termination by us (without your fault)

14. Third-Party Links

EasyTrashMail may contain links to external websites or services. We don't control these and assume no responsibility for:

Content or practices of third-party websites
Privacy policies of external services
Damages from using linked services

15. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Jurisdiction: Exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of EasyTrashMail in Germany.

EU-wide Validity

For consumers in other EU countries, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence also apply.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Informal Resolution (Preferred)

We always try to resolve issues in a friendly and unbureaucratic manner!

16.2 Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

EU consumers can use the EU Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

16.3 No Class Actions

Disputes are resolved individually - no class actions or group proceedings.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. For significant changes:

Update of "Last Updated" date
Visible notice on the website
Email notification for Premium users
30 days advance notice for significant changes

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

18. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms of Use is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy constitute the complete agreement between you and EasyTrashMail.
